France national team coach Didier Deschamps commented on the situation with Paul Pogba after his failed doping test at Juventus in Turin. The midfielder was provisionally suspended by Italian anti-doping authorities after testing positive for testosterone.

“I can’t imagine it, knowing him, with all the thoughts that are in his head. I still remember our conversations with him about vaccination and Covid… I don’t think he himself knows the reason for all this. I will always support him,” Deschamps was quoted as saying by Goal.
If found guilty, the 30-year-old could be banned from football for up to four years.
