Diddy Accused by Fourth Woman in New Lawsuit of Gang Rape
Sean “Diddy” Combs, the renowned music mogul, has found himself embroiled in yet another controversy as a fourth woman comes forward with allegations of sexual assault. Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr., a music producer who collaborated with Combs on his latest album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” has filed a lawsuit accusing the rapper of engaging in serious illegal activities, including sexual assault. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. federal court for the southern district of New York, also implicates Combs’ associates, including his son Justin Dior Combs and his chief of staff.
Jones claims that Combs forcibly touched him and threatened to touch his intimate areas during their collaboration on the album. Furthermore, he accuses Combs and his associates of participating in a sex-trafficking venture. The partnership between Jones and Combs lasted from September 2022 to November 2023 and resulted in nine songs on “The Love Album,” for which Jones is credited as a producer. However, Jones alleges that he was not paid for his work for over a year.
In response to the allegations, Diddy’s attorney, Shawn Holley, released a statement calling Jones a liar who is seeking an undeserved payday. Holley asserts that they have overwhelming evidence proving the claims are false but have been unable to share it with Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, as he refuses to return their calls. Blackburn, on the other hand, states that litigation was a last resort due to the other side’s refusal to negotiate.
This is not the first time Combs has faced legal action in recent months. An anonymous accuser previously alleged that Combs and his associates raped her when she was 17 years old. Additionally, his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie, accused him of rape, sex trafficking, and physical abuse, resulting in a settlement between the two parties. Another woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal filed a lawsuit against Combs, claiming she was drugged, sexually assaulted, and subjected to revenge porn.
In his lawsuit, Jones provides various pieces of evidence, including photos and screenshots, to support his claims of misconduct by Combs and his associates. He alleges that he has irrefutable evidence of illegal activities, such as drug acquisition, use, and distribution, as well as providing laced alcoholic beverages to minors and sex workers. Jones also accuses actor Cuba Gooding Jr., introduced to him by Combs, of sexually harassing and assaulting him during a meeting on Combs’ yacht.
Jones describes enduring constant unsolicited touching and threats of violence from Combs. He claims to have been forced to witness the rapper’s nude body on multiple occasions and engage in sexual acts with sex workers for Combs’ pleasure. According to Jones, Combs used various tactics to maintain control over him, including physical force and promises of rewards such as a Grammy and access to high-level record label executives. Jones also alleges that Combs threatened to harm him and even kill his mother if necessary.
These serious allegations against Combs shed light on the pervasive issue of sexual assault in the music industry. Survivors of sexual assault can seek support through organizations like RAINN, which offers assistance through the National Sexual Assault Hotline.
