Another of the relevant topics discussed was the voluntary registration of migrants, a program that has crossed borders and provides protection to both Guatemalans living abroad and their families in the national territory.

Separately, the Minister of Public Health and Social Assistance, Joaquín Barnoya, highlighted the close collaboration between the two organizations to optimize primary care in Guatemala.

Representatives of the Institute also participated in the activity, such as Julio César Valdez, president of the IGSS Technical Council; Edwin García, head of the Actuarial and Statistical Department, and Adolfo Lacs, representative of the work department on the Board of Directors.
