TF1 viewers find this Saturday, November 13 the last of the three bonuses of the 20 years of the Star Academy. On the program of this alumni meeting : archives, memories, outstanding performances, behind the scenes at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys… Marked by the victory of Grégory Lemarchal, who died of cystic fibrosis, the 4th season of the telecrochet had revealed several endearing candidates, including Sandy François. The beautiful brunette is not unknown to the world of music: she is none other than the daughter of Jean-Pierre François, famous for his hit I will survive you (1989).
Visibly proud of his daughter, Jean-Pierre François had taken advantage of a Star Academy, in 2004, to do an appearance on the set of TF1. In duet with his daughter, the former footballer of AS Saint-Étienne had interpreted the song Blood for blood, by Johnny Hallyday, a song composed by his son David Hallyday. After rising to fame in the 1980s, the 56-year-old artist continued his journey in anonymity. Now vice-president of Ramatuelle football club, this former nightclub boss does not intend to regain fame. “He was offered to tour with other singers from the 80s, for a lot of money, and he always refused”, revealed her daughter Sandy in the columns of the Progress, in 2012.
A mother with two children
Father and daughter are never far away. The former Top 50 star and the 34-year-old DJ live in Saint-Tropez (Var). “What is important to him today, it’s to be surrounded by the people he loves. Nothing else. And besides, he’s a great grandfather! “ said the mother of the family in her interview with Progress. Indeed, the singer gave birth in 2008 to Loan, now 13 years old. The family grew in 2017, with the arrival of a second boy named James, soon to be 4 years old. For her part, the native of Mulhouse remains discreet about her love life.
