This international recognition is also reflected in chocolate sales all over the world.
The title of “best chocolate in the world”
The Bonnat chocolate factory has as it were obtained the golden ticket. Shortly before 1890, the first chocolate was marketed. The “Pavés de Voiron”, melting cubic sweets are sold in 180 shops in metropolitan France and from 1901, they are sent to all the counters of the French colonies.
Russian Tsar, Universal Exhibition or tribute to ancient Egypt, the Bonnat chocolate factory has taken part in major events, further strengthening its reputation. Sweets are exported all over the world.
The “Historical Grands Crus” bars are the masterpieces of the Bonnat chocolate factory. On several occasions, they have been awarded the highest distinction for a chocolate bar: “Best chocolatier” in the world.
A family tradition
Several generations have passed since Félix. Today, the Bonnat house is managed by Stéphane. The master chocolatier is the 5th generation of this chocolate factory located in Voiron.
Stéphane is passionate. To the point of making more than 50 trips a year to find the best beans that will be used for his preparations.
