Kolkata/Abhijeet Majumdar. With the investigation into the rape and murder of a 31-year-old trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, the CBI has reached a complex and difficult situation from which many revelations can be made. Various claims are being made in West Bengal about the incident. Such as the fake medicine racket across the state in medical colleges and hospitals, money or points for sex scams, prostitution rings, or even videos related to necrophilia, the CBI can be suspended in this case.
As strange as all these theories may seem, two things seem very possible:
* Given the level of brutality inflicted on the victim, the doctors’ reports of the amount of semen found inside him and the fact that no one even heard her scream, this is not a normal rape but a premeditated gang rape and murder. The only accused arrested so far, Sanjay Roy, known as ‘freak’ in the hospital area and also a civilian volunteer of the Kolkata Police, could not have do this alone.
* As soon as efforts were made to cover up the incident – from initially calling it a suicide, to transferring the Principal of RG Kar Hospital, Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, to the Calcutta National Medical College on the same post, and on the night of August 14, the RG Kar From breaking into the hospital and possibly trying to destroy important evidence, as well as renovating parts of the hospital immediately after the horror – it seems that something very big is going on. Can this issue shake the foundation of some powerful political factions in West Bengal? Only time can provide this answer.
Currently, the question before the CBI investigation is whether the murder was done to hide the rape or whether they were raped to distract attention from the murder. Did the young doctor in training realize something big? Is RG Kar Hospital completely central to some information? After all, several news reports related to the hospital have been coming out over the years.
* Porn gang behind murder of student at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata – Times of India Headline of 7 November 2001.
* Domestic worker RG Kar kills himself in hospital – TOI, news 6th February, 2003.
* Locked room from inside: Mutilated body of professor RG Kar found at home – TOI, News of October 24, 2016.
* Kolkata: Young doctor jumps from sixth floor of Covid-19 hospital, dies – Indian Express, News May 1, 2020.
* Medical student dies while hiking in Uttarakhand – TOI, news 22 Jan 2023.
* Intern dies of ‘drug overdose’ at RG Kar Hospital – TOI, August 13, 2023.
Now the question is going to arise: Are these events, which seem to be different over the years, really connected by a common thread? It was revealed that CBI has already questioned Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Hospital, twice. This clearly begs the question:
