MEXICO CITY.– Far from what you might think, not everything is rosy in the lives of celebrities, because like anyone they are exposed to situations that can take them to the limit.
In September of last year, the news of the sudden death of the singer Xavier Ortiz shocked many, especially due to the circumstances in which his departure occurred.
When talking about this unfortunate event, Mónica Noguera wanted to open her heart to talk about her experience with depression. The driver, who in the past has recounted difficult situations in her life, also revealed what her salvation has been when facing this difficult scenario.
In the recent broadcast of the First Hand program, they talked about the unfortunate death of the former Garibaldi in September last year. And it is that new reports have pointed out that a 48-year-old singer had stopped taking the medications with which he treated his depression.
After presenting the news, Monica took a moment to talk about her personal experience with this mental disorder. “I have been in a situation of having to go to the doctor to take and prescribe antidepressants and it really is a feeling that you really want to die,” confessed the driver.
“I’ve been like very close to that edge, which is so thin, that line is so thin,” he added.
While her colleagues remained attentive, Noguera continued with her sincere testimony, revealing in passing what it was that in her case has helped her get ahead.
“It has saved me how radical I have been in training, in food, which is very important …”, he pointed out, noting that it is vital in this type of case to have the support of a professional: “And to continue with medications periodically, but without leaving your doctor, you cannot leave him ”, he emphasized.
In addition, the driver said that in this type of situation antidepressants cannot be stopped suddenly, since any change in medication must be supervised by a specialist. After sharing this intimate episode of his life, his colleagues expressed their love and sincere support.
The hardest moments of your life
Monica’s mettle and strength have helped her overcome the most difficult situations, such as the one she lived in search of becoming a mother. A couple of years ago the driver opened up to talk about this moment in her life and confessed how hard it was for her not to be able to fulfill her dream of having a baby.
“For 10 years I was trying to be a mother and I never could, actually I did get pregnant, but I lost the pregnancies,” she said in 2019 when she attended the Sale el Sol program.
“The first time I got pregnant was with twins and I lost them just at 3 months, probably days before 3 months and the second time I get pregnant is years later and that was about a month,” recalled the driver visibly moved , as he even admitted that it was difficult for him to bring up the subject.
“I had been dealing with fertility treatments, in vitro fertilization for 10 years, after those 10 years I talked to the doctor and said: ‘I want to stop trying because it is something very exhausting,'” he continued.
Monica said that after that decision she decided to try again after she met a couple, however, the pregnancy could not continue either. “There comes a point (of) letting go because if not your life does not continue,” reflected Noguera, who also highlighted the importance of having at his side, in addition to medical supervision, the psychological support of a professional to be able to cope with these situations so delicate.
