Was Luka Doncic sick? Rumors and whispers spread like wildfire last night at the Chase Center, both before and after the match between the Golden State Warriors y Dallas Mavericks in their second game of the Western Finals.
Kevin Harlan, TNT announcer, had raised the alarm after Game 1 of the tie. The journalist said that Luka Doncic had spent the night after the match awake, battling an illness that the Mavericks had not identified.
Beyond the seriousness of the matter, the networks immediately referred to the ‘Flu Game‘ from Michael Jordanthat exhibition in the playoffs of the Bulls star in which he led his team despite a flu.
The numbers of both are very similar in the two meetings, although obviously Luka was not as bad as Jordan in your party.
Los Mavericks missed a golden opportunity after leading with an iron hand throughout the first half and letting the Warriors come back after the break.
Doncic he has battled this flu-like process, soreness in his right shoulder and a scar on his face, courtesy of a scratch from Andrew Wiggins, during these Conference Finals.
