Millions of football fans are amazed. A video that the smartwatch manufacturer “Whoop” published on its Instagram account is currently going viral on social media. In it, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo leads a tour of his in-house gym. The football legend quickly starts talking about his great love, Georgina Rodríguez.
“When I’m not going to the gym, I like to train at home with my wife. I can push her and she can push me too,” said the 39-year-old. The result: The word “wife” sets off alarm bells for many fans. Officially, the couple is not even known to be engaged.
“I just do not know”
Was it a slip of the tongue? Does Ronaldo use the word “wife” just because he loves his partner? Or did they really get married? Questions upon questions. And they are questions that remain unanswered for now.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have not officially commented. “At this time, I can neither confirm nor deny that Cristiano has married Georgina,” his spokesman told the US entertainment portal “Page Six.” “I simply don’t know.”
Ronaldo and the 30-year-old have been a couple since 2017. The two have biological children Bella (2) and Alana Martina (6). Little Bella’s twin brother died during childbirth. They also have twins Mateo and Eva (7), who were born via surrogate mother, and Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. (14), who was born before Ronaldo’s relationship with Rodríguez.
