For almost thirty years, the murder of the elderly seat occupant Jules Bogaerts and his wife Jeanne Jacobs from Tienen has been a mystery. But now the Leuven court believes that after all this time they have unmasked the murderer, thanks to jeans. They are convinced that Alinda Van der Cruysen (47), a grandniece of the couple, committed the double murder as a teenager. The woman wants to prove her innocence before the assize jury next week: “Those pants don’t even fit me.”
