The actress accepted the challenge of doing comedy with a lot of energy and came to empathize with a character that does not look like her.“I’ve never been offered a comedy like this before and this character interested me from the start. Isabelle eventually realises that her plan wasn’t as good as she thought and ends up accepting her fate. She is completely different from me, but I have a soft spot for the character because I know people who look like her!

Dany Boon, a guarantee of success
Diane Kruger couldn’t have a better partner for her comedy debut than Dany Boon. “Since I saw her in Feliz Navidad I knew she had a very funny side, but it has been a revelation. It is her first comedy and she trusted the team from the first moment. She is a very simple, approachable woman. We make a good comic couple!” The fame of this comedian, actor, director and screenwriter (although in Take me to the moon is content to be the protagonist) crossed borders with Welcome to the Northa box office hit in France that was also a hit in Spain and ended up with an Italian remake. Bad luck on set: a scorpion, a lion and an accident
The German had more than one unpleasant surprise during the filming in Kenyaone of the film’s locations. Despite sharing the stage with a lionthe worst happened behind the scenes. To begin with, on the first day he found himself a dangerous scorpion in his own room, under the bed. As if that were not enough, when he returned from filming the next day he had an even bigger scare: the showers were outside and there he found a leopard. They also suffered an accidentIt happened in the early morning, while they were going to the set. They couldn’t call anyone: There was no coverage. “We had to walk for a long time before we found someone,” explained Diane Kruger.
