In the 1/64 finals, the Ukrainian defeated the 7th racket of the world in two sets Market Vondroushov (Czech Republic) in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Yastremskaya started at AO 2024 with qualification. For her, this is her 4th victory on the courts of Melbourne this year and the first in two games.
