Actress Diana Dimitrova, who has publicly shared that she was the victim of mental and physical harassment, has responded to criticism from journalist Yavor Dachkov, who spoke on Facebook about the violence Dimitrova suffered.
Dachkov’s post has already been deleted, but let’s remember what he wrote:
“Actress Diana Dimitrova’s action is political and has nothing to do with justice, violence, etc. This became clear from her unrelated interview on bTV, which was meant to be a kind of manifesto of the newly emerged movement me too on native soil. Because the actress is weak , the main points of reference in this manifesto were recited without context and awkwardly, which she gave and intended. When she was asked why now, the woman made it clear that she was the face of a campaign. Years ago, Dimitrova did not file a police report, nor did she collect a medical certificate, which would make perfect sense in terms of justice and due process. This case is being brought up now because it involves a big name to get media attention. And it’s not just a literal imitation of American post-Harvey Weinstein excesses In recent months the European Commission and other European institutions have allocated huge funds under the guise of combating domestic violence, but in reality for the propaganda of gender ideology. In recent months, a new resolution from the European Parliament has also arrived, which with an imperative tone exhorted all European countries to accept the Istanbul Convention. In a speech by newly elected PES President Stefan Löwen in Berlin two months ago, the adoption of the Istanbul Convention by all EU Member States was declared a top priority. It is evident that the pressure is mounting and, from the intense publications in some media, it is seen that the money has also started to arrive. The weak actress they’ve cast to deal with this pressure is a pawn in the grand scheme of things, and her performances should only be seen in that light. Tearjerker stories in the media are a means to further goals very different from justice. And for there to be justice in this particular case, we will have to listen to the other side as well. As well as what provoked this attitude. From what I’ve heard of this case, it’s scary, and the weak actress must be glad she got away with it (we’ll talk about that). The novelty for me here is that the Istanbul Convention is back with a new force, more aggressive and more cunning than before, because they will apply to us all the disgusting examples of vulgar American media profanity, parasitic on the short-circuited emotions of the public, obsessed with same media only with the bottom of the person and inflaming the most disgusting instincts without an iota of criticism of the plots presented and no interest in the truth. In two words: no movement. I’m afraid we’re stuck, but I hope this time healthy Bulgarian skepticism will show itself forever.”
The actress’ reaction was immediate. Here’s what she wrote on her Facebook profile about her:
“Here, this is already a real imagination! I’m impressed!!!
What a great thinker we had in Bulgaria, what a conspirator. I say had because I didn’t know your personality.
Few facts. The “weak” actress was the only Bulgarian chosen for the main female role, after being cast in several normal countries for the History Channel television in 2015. I am attaching a link so that you can develop your imagination further, too if it probably has no limits.
But… where did I go with my modest achievement, after you insulted Oscar nominee – Theo Ushev… I left your profile unverified, because it smelled like some camps that kill intellectuals in Bulgaria like flies.
PS Well, tell people that I am a reptile and immediately call Musk, let’s have a meeting on the rocks of Belogradchik, that I can’t stand waiting for him anymore! And a piece of advice, take care of your body. You’re young and the holidays are yet to come…”
