Diamond League: Namibian Christine Mboma wins the 200m ahead of Shericka Jackson and Asher-Smith in Brussels

Namibian Christine Mboma won the women’s 200m at the Diamond League in Brussels this Friday, September 3, 2021 in 21’84. Meanwhile, Jamaican Shericka Jackson and Briton Dina Asher-Smith finished the race in second and third position respectively.

Forced to run over short distances, Christine Mboma enjoys the 200m. The recent silver medalist of the Tokyo Olympics was once again the author of an exceptional performance among other athletes, who are however regulars of the event. With a time of 21’84, she dominated the Brussels race ahead of Shericka Jackson (21’95) and Asher-Smith Dina (22’04). The new darling of the American sprint, Shar’Carric Richardson came in fourth with 22’45.
