Lebanese star Diamond Abu Aboud has finished shooting his latest Lebanese film “Arze” in Beirut, under the direction of Lebanese director Mira Shoaib, and is expected to screen in theaters and festivals soon.
The film is the director’s first feature film after her short Lilax has been shown at many festivals around the world and is produced by ambient light for producer Ali El Araby as the opera’s lead producer. With him are Louay Khreish and Faisal Shoaib, who also wrote the story of the film.
And with Diamond Abu Aboud, Betty Tuttle, Bilal Al-Hamwi, together with the guests of the opera there are Fadi Abi Samra, Junaid Zeineddine, Fouad Yammine, Elie Mitri, Tarek Tamim, Hagob Dargogasian, Joyce Nasrallah, Shaden Fakih and Muhammad Khansa.
Her story revolves around “Arza”, a single mother living in Beirut. Living conditions were difficult for her, so she had to work hard on her own to secure a life for her son Kinan and sister, Laila.
