The Rosenheim CSU member of the Bundestag Daniela Ludwig and the chairman of the IHK regional committee Rosenheim, Andreas Bensegger, are pushing for a swift start of the bridging aid III for the economy in the region. The down payments for this federal corona aid program should reach the companies as quickly as possible, said Ludwig and Bensegger. Problems with the software, as with the Novemberhilfe, should no longer exist with the bridging aid III. One day before the meeting of Chancellor Angela Merkel with the prime ministers of the federal states, they also demanded that people and the economy be given prospects for an exit from the lockdown. “The mood is tense, many are in dire straits,” emphasized Daniela Ludwig. “Citizens have adhered to requirements, the incidence figures are falling. Now politicians are challenged. But we have to weigh up and need an opening with a sense of proportion. “
“The economy needs an opening perspective as soon as possible,” said Andreas Bensegger. “The situation is extremely serious in some industries. The reserves in the company have been used up and ongoing payments are due. Many livelihoods are at stake. ”Jens Wucherpfennig, head of the IHK office in Rosenheim, also took part in the conversation in the office. “We are in constant contact with other associations and politics because we want to help as soon as possible,” said Bensegger. The IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria is processing the applications for corona aid for all of Bavaria on behalf of the state government. The employees of the IHK ensure with great personal commitment that the applications are carefully checked, but also quickly approved. 280 state officials and external partners support them. “The cooperation is going well, Bavaria is the nationwide leader in processing all applications from various aid programs,” explained Bensegger. 74 percent of all applications for November aid are approved, 31 percent for December aid. Applications from Bridging Aid I are 99.9 percent completed, and from Bridging Aid II it is 93 percent. In total, over 140,000 applications with a volume of 1.5 billion euros have been received throughout Bavaria.
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce now hopes that Bridging Aid III will run smoothly. “With the Novemberhilfe, companies had to wait weeks for their money due to technical problems with the software made available by the federal government. That created a lot of frustration and was fatal, ”said Bensegger. “Something like that mustn’t happen again. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce does its best and processes several thousand applications a day. ”“ Processing the applications and providing Corona aid is a national feat, ”emphasized Daniela Ludwig. “The IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria organized this in an exemplary manner. This is proven by the numbers and the top position that Bavaria occupies here in Germany. My thanks go to all employees who have a mammoth task to master. I am now counting on the bridging aid III to run smoothly and without software problems. And I hope we can give people a perspective. Because one thing is clear: Our country can no longer afford a permanent loop at lockdowns. “
