The other day, the “Dialogue of Cultures” event took place at school No. 32 in Kirov. Advisor to the director of education Olga Myshkina, together with English teacher Daria Vekovshinina, organized a meeting with foreign students who now live and study in Kirov.
During the event, foreign guests represented countries such as Peru, China, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tajikistan and Pakistan.
Thus, during the meeting, foreign students shared with schoolchildren interesting stories about their native culture, traditions, national dishes and unique natural objects. Thanks to the meeting, the children learned to read the Arabic alphabet.
I am very glad that our students were able to get acquainted with the culture of such distant and exotic countries. After all, at any age it is interesting to learn about new traditions and customs, try yourself in creating unusual things and get acquainted with new languages,” shared Olga Myshkina.
Let us note that the event was held with the support of the International Friendship Club of the Kirov Region. Such meetings show how important a foreign language is in life.
School students noted that many foreigners spoke Russian fluently. This became another incentive for the children to learn foreign languages.
