Monterrey. Diablos Rojos seems determined to end soon with its aspirations of becoming champion of the Mexican Baseball League after a decade without achieving it. It does not matter if it is in a foreign home and passing over the rival, the Sultanes de Monterrey, who despite playing the third game of the series in two days due to the ravages of the rain, were unable to react and fell for the third consecutive time now with a score of 2-0.

Bauer was honored for setting the record for most strikeouts in a LMB game, with 19 strikeouts against Oaxaca on June 21. The American pitcher gave the ball with which he achieved that mark to the Hall of Fame.
