Unfortunately for Chinese fans, the game Diablo Immortal, which was scheduled for release on June 23, ended up being postponed at the last minute. To explain the reason for this delay, Blizzard made an official statement.
According to the game producer, ‘the team is working on a number of optimizations for the game, support for a greater number of devices from a wider range of models, maximum graphics quality on more models, a number of optimizations for the experience, network and performance and more’.
With this, Blizzard reinforces that the postponement will allow the game to be released with better quality, which will benefit the game and players in China. However, so far, no new date has been presented, but rare items have been offered as compensation. Currently, this decision and explanation are raising a lot of questions, especially Blizzard’s willingness to make last-minute optimizations, to the point of causing Diablo Immortal to be delayed in China.
