The trailer for Diablo 4’s second season, ‘Season of Blood (working title, official translation name unknown, English name Season of Blood)’, which will be updated in the fall, was released through Gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live.
After the end of the first season, ‘Season of Evil’, ‘Season of Blood’ is a season centered on vampires and vampire hunters. Players will have an adventure against the vampire lord with the vampire hunter NPC who leads the season narrative, and will face numerous humanoid monsters that have been transformed into vampires.
The representative change in season 2 is not the parallel expansion of content, but an update that strengthens existing content and systems. Blizzard will make overall in-game improvements, such as five endgame bosses, new reputation system rewards, and jewels, warehouse system reorganization, and resistance and stat effect adjustments.
This is because, unlike the ‘Seed of Evil’ season, where development began before release and development was almost completed at the time of release, ‘Season of Blood’ began development while collecting feedback after release. However, since the release time was much earlier than the season application time, detailed in-season content was not introduced at this event, other than trailer videos and major changes.
Diablo 4’s second season, ‘Season of Blood’, will be applied on October 17th local time.
