Blizzard will change the Diablo formula by introducing an open world for Devil 4, which provides nonlinearity. However, according to general manager Rod Fergusson, this does not mean that the game will be similar to Breath of the Wild.
In conversation with ign Rod explained that structure Devil 4 not like Zelda. Despite the non-linearity, the game will have a story, because the developers wanted the game to have a beginning, middle and end.
However, if there is a desire, gamers will be able to ignore the story for some time. This is one of the benefits of having an open world where you can travel and fight before tackling the story.
Also, inside Devil 4 there will be many side quests and tasks that are not found during the linear passage of the story.
Many details according to the latest rumors Devil 4 will be announced on December 8 at TGA 2022, pre-orders will be open at the same time. And the release, presumably, in April.
