When Diablo 4 came out in June, many players were excited. The game was well put together and the gameplay was top notch. Blizzard would also add even more content and come up with new updates. Last week, the enthusiasm of many players only came to an end with the release of patch 1.1.0.
The update has caused many players’ builds to suddenly be grained and the difficulty level has increased dramatically. Diablo 4 players are not averse to a bit of a challenge, but Blizzard has clearly taken it too far with the patch. The developers even now acknowledge that it wasn’t a good patch, during the Diablo 4 Campfire Chat.
“We know it’s bad, we know it’s not fun. We don’t plan to ever release a patch like this again. We have heard the feedback from fans loud and clear.”
Solution is coming
To resolve the issues caused by patch 1.1.0, a hotfix will be released soon. Update 1.1.1 should ensure that the strength of the Barbarian and especially the Sorcerer goes up again after the big nerves. The Sorcerer should also get a boost in how much the class can take blows.
The update will also resolve concerns about the inventoryby an additional stash tab and it becomes easy to try out new builds. The cost for one respec down by as much as 40 percent. Finally, the amount of XP players receive between level 50 and 100 will also be adjusted, after players suddenly needed a lot more XP after patch 1.1.0.
