Blizzard has announced the launch of an open beta testing called Server Slam for Diablo 4. As the name suggests, the Server Slam beta is designed to stress test Diablo 4 servers before the game launches.

The Diablo 4 Server Slam will last 2 days and end on May 14 at 10:00 AM PDT (unless the beta is extended, of course). Everyone can take part, even those who have not pre-ordered the game. Moreover, Server Slam will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

If you have previously participated in the Diablo 4 beta test, you may well participate in the Server Slam. You just need to update the previously uploaded beta with the new Server Slam data. Everyone else will need to download the full beta package from the respective stores of their preferred platforms.

As before, in Diablo 4 Server Slam, players will be able to choose between all five playable classes. However, you will only be able to upgrade these characters to level 25 during the Server Slam tournament. Even worse, your progress from previous betas will not carry over to Server Slam, and your progress in Server Slam will not carry over to the final game. This is a completely isolated event.

The good news is that you will still be able to earn all the rewards introduced in previous betas. This means that those who reach level 20 with at least one character can still unlock the Initial Casualty and Early Voyager titles, as well as the Beta Wolf Pack cosmetics. You can also earn the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy by defeating Ashava with a level 20 character. Of course, this item won’t be really useful until you can unlock mounts in the final game.
