Not long ago, “Diablo 4” added a new Steam sales channel, and many players were speculating whether it would also be on the Steam Deck. Now the Blizzard team confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that it will soon be playable on handheld consoles.
Blizzard Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher posted that “Diablo 4” will obtain Steam Deck release certification and will be launched together with S2 Season of Blood on October 18.
We have been hearing some questions regarding Steam Deck verification for #DiabloIV.
We can happily say that Diablo IV will be Steam Deck Verified ✅ starting next Tuesday with the launch of the game on Steam and the start of Season of Blood!

Considering that “Diablo 4” is a game that requires a lot of time to install, handheld consoles are to a certain extent more suitable for playing than consoles and PCs. At the same time, being able to be on the Steam Deck also means that the game is the most popular for handheld consoles. Optimization, other similar products with more powerful performance, such as ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, may benefit from this and get a better experience.
