Mowafi said during his program “My Lord, Increase My Knowledge,” broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, that headaches in diabetics may indicate high blood pressure.
The professor of critical care medicine added that high blood pressure usually occurs after a period of diabetes, explaining that the relationship between both diseases is not yet clear to doctors.

He stressed that the Holter device is the best way to diagnose high blood pressure in diabetics, because it helps measure the heartbeat for up to 72 hours.
