The city of Arles is hosting the second edition of the Salon des Diabètes, an event organized by the Arles Camargue Lions Club, bringing together health professionals, patients and families around an essential theme: awareness of diabetes in all its forms.
This show, which took place for the first time in 2023 at the same time, attracted a large audience, reflecting the growing interest in issues related to diabetes. On the program this year are conferences led by recognized experts and influencers from the diabetes community, practical workshops and exhibition stands presenting the latest technological and therapeutic advances as well as fashion accessories to customize medical equipment.
Visitors will be able to attend talks by doctors, dietitians and psychologists who addressed various aspects of the disease, including prevention, diet, the importance of physical activity and psychological support. Patient testimonials will also play a central role, illustrating the daily reality of those living with diabetes.
Various themes are covered, ranging from nutrition to stress management, including technological advances such as insulin pumps and blood sugar monitoring systems.
A meeting place, this show will emphasize the importance of community and mutual support in disease management. Local and national associations will offer spaces for exchange and sharing of experiences, thus strengthening the links between people affected by the disease and their loved ones.
An edition marked by a strong commitment to research since it will take place during the Telethon weekend with which the Arles Lions Club is associated, highlighting the importance of donations to improve treatments and patient care.
An event to raise public awareness of diabetes issues, but also to promote concrete solutions to improve the lives of people suffering from this disease and their caregivers. .
