Di Maria’s story about the Mourinho-Ronaldo clash at Madrid

Angel Di Maria never had a problem with his former coach at Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho. But Mou bickered with many people, including Cristiano Ronaldo.

Di Maria is one of Mourinho’s recruits who was lined up as the new coach of Madrid from 2010 to 2013. During the three years working together, the two brought The whites won LaLiga and the Copa del Rey.

Angel Di Maria’s career with Madrid ended in the summer of 2014. The Argentina international winger then joined Manchester United before moving to Paris St. Germain the following year. Di Maria remembers humility Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I once invited Cristiano to my first birthday party in Madrid and thought he would not come. But yet he came and drank beer with my colleagues like nobody,” continued the 33-year-old footballer.

“Ronaldo and some other players fought for me to stay at the club but that guy [Presiden Madrid Florentino Perez] running everything there, so it’s a bit difficult,” Angel Di Maria add.
