Dhoni Bhai Says He Can Play In IPL If He Loses 20 Kgs, Afghanistan Star Reveals

Dubai: The cricketers of India and Afghanistan maintain friendship both inside and outside the cricket field. The players of Afghanistan are also big fans of the Indian cricket team. Now cricketer Ashghar Afghan is talking about an interesting conversation he once had with Dhoni.

The star revealed that he had spoken to Dhoni about former Afghanistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Shehzad. After the tie between India and Afghanistan in the 2018 Asia Cup, he spoke to Dhoni for a long time.

Ashgar says that it was then that they told him that Muhammad was a big fan of Shahzad bhai. Ashgar recalled that Dhoni’s response was to tell him that if he loses 20 kg weight, he can play in the IPL.

Dhoni also joked that he has a bit of a belly. But Ashgar added that Shahzad’s weight had increased by five kilos after coming home from Dubai. Ashgar also said that Dhoni is God’s gift to Indian cricket.
