DHF Cases Increase in Cimahi, Padasuka Village Head Orders Citizens to Do PSN for Early Prevention

Report from the West Java Tribune reporter, Kemal Setia Permana

TRIBUNJABAR.ID, CIMAHI – Disease dengue hemorrhagic fever began to increase in Cimahi City, including in the Padasuka Village, Central Cimahi.

In this regard, the village head of Padasuka, Ajat Sudrajat, appealed to all residents to take preventive measures early on.

“One of them is routinely carrying out Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) as a prevention effort,” said Ajat at Padasuka Village, Friday (17/12/2021).

Ajat said that it was very important to remind all of its citizens considering that dengue cases in Cimahi City were currently increasing.

Specialized in Padasuka Village, DBB cases recorded since the beginning of 2021 have reached 18 people.

As many as 5 of them died.

“Because of this increasing number, I urge the public to routinely carry out PSN,” said Ajat.

According to Ajat, the increasing number of dengue cases should be a concern for all parties, including the public, to be more vigilant.

The easiest thing society can do, according to Ajat, is not to let mosquito larvae breed.

“Usually mosquito larvae DHF transmission grows in puddles of water. In this transitional season, puddles of water will usually be more visible so that mosquito breeding will also occur more,” he said.

Thus, Ajati appealed to all residents not to allow standing water to become a place for growth mosquito larvae.

Ajat himself and his cadres also routinely conduct PSN every Friday. They immediately went to the field to conduct inspections of residents’ homes.
