Dhanush has a complaint, not his movie face in real life; 10 crore compensation demanded for three seconds: Nayanthara
Nayanthara is going to release the documentary ‘Beyond the Fairy Tale’ on her birthday on November 18. Meanwhile, Nayanthara has criticized actor Dhanush. The actress says that Dhanush is a man who behaves with loyalty.
The actress fell in love with Vignesh Sivan while shooting for the 2015 film Nanum Rowdy Than. This movie directed by Vignesh was produced by Dhanush.
In the trailer of her documentary, Nayanthara talks about this film and the song in it. The actress sought permission from Dhanush’s production company to use the song from the film in the documentary, but it was not granted.
The trailer for the Netflix documentary was released today. In it, Dhanush has contacted Nayanthara citing copyright infringement for using BTS scenes from the film Naanum Rowdy Than. The actor has sent a copyright notice of 10 crores.
Nayanthara has now shared a three page long note on her social media page directly addressing Dhanush. Dhanush has demanded a compensation of 10 crores for the scenes which are only three seconds long.
In the note, Nayanthara says that Dhanush is holding a grudge and the actor is not the face in the film but in real life. The actress also says that there was a bad attitude from Dhanush when the film was shot. Nayanthara also said that Dhanush was the reason behind the delay of the documentary.
