DFZ transferred subsidies to greater than 14,000 farmers to cut back pesticides – 2024-06-27 15:22:45


It continues the payout of the subsidies below the Eco schemes for Marketing campaign 2023. State Fund “Agriculture” (DFZ) paid BGN 200,776,380 below The eco scheme to cut back using pesticides (Eco-NIP). Monetary assist was supplied to 14,350 farmers who implement the actions eligible for the intervention, described in Artwork. 41 of Ordinance No. 3 of March 10, 2023.

We remind you that below the Eco-NIP, beneficiaries who apply the next ecological practices inside their farm are eligible for assist:

  • Plant safety merchandise which might be whole herbicides, together with these containing glyphosate, should not be utilized to the areas utilized by the farmer, and
  • If plant safety merchandise are utilized – pesticides, herbicides and fungicides, solely plant safety merchandise that don’t fall into the primary skilled class of use are used, or

The Eco-NIP fee is per hectare of admissible agricultural land, which is differentiated in line with the kind of land use – for arable land, for everlasting crops and for completely grassed areas.

The charges at which the assist is paid are decided by order of the Minister of Agriculture and Meals (RD09-710 of 26.06.2024). They’re distributed as follows:

  • for arable land – BGN 102.14 per hectare;
  • for everlasting plantations – BGN 193.20 per hectare;
  • for completely grassed areas – BGN 9.20 per hectare.

For Marketing campaign 2023 Eco-NIP is the scheme to which the best curiosity from farmers is reported.
