DFSK introduced the Seres SF5 SUV to the Indonesian people for the first time at GIIAS Surabaya 2021. The Seres SF5 greeted the visitors of GIIAS Surabaya 2021 starting from 8 – 12 December 2021 at Grand City Convex, Surabaya, East Java.
“The SF5 series is proof to the Indonesian market that DFSK is ready to become a reliable mobility partner for various daily activities, especially presenting environmentally friendly vehicles with maximum comfort,” said PR & Media Manager of PT Sokonindo Automobile, Achmad Rofiqi, at GIIAS Surabaya 2021.
DFSK currently offers electric light commercial vehicles to support the business sector by promoting a sustainable concept through DFSK Gelora E.
Seres SF5 is supported by High Performance Dual Electric Motor technology where the drive system adopted uses 4×4 technology. This SUV is equipped with 2 high-performance electric motors in the form of SEP200AC with 255 kW power at the front and HW150 with 150 kW power at the rear.

Official records from Research and Development (R&D) show that the Seres SF5’s acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour takes only 4.7 seconds, or the equivalent of a typical sports car.
The two high-performance electric motors offered are powered by a 35 kWH Li-ion battery. Drivers can use a charging station with fast charging capability to charge the battery 20% – 80% in less than 1 hour.

If you don’t find a charging station around during the trip, the driver also doesn’t need to worry because the Seres SF5 is equipped with the Intelligent Extended Range Technology feature.
The Seres SF5 is equipped with an internal combustion engine that functions as a generator to recharge the battery’s electrical energy when there is about 20% of the remaining electrical energy in the battery. Thanks to this technology, the Seres SF5 can go up to 1,000 kilometers.
In terms of connectivity, it is also not left behind to be offered to passengers because it gets support from Huawei in the form of Huawei Intelligence Car (HICar) in the form of a mobile phone mapping method and its function is similar to CarPlay. HICar is presented to increase Safety so that connectivity will not be disturbed by other devices, Smart Connection which makes it only necessary for passengers to connect their smart phone once and so on, Resource Sharing which allows vehicles and cellphones to share hardware, to Seamless Experience.
