DFSK Gelora was actually introduced early last year at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC).

“DFSK finally officially started marketing DFSK Gelora to support various consumer business activities in Indonesia. The first DFSK Gelora we started to present was the blind van model because our internal research results show that many consumers in the country are looking forward to this model to support their business,” said Deputy Marketing Director of PT Sokonindo Automobile, Major Qin, through his official statement.

DFSK Gelora can be used in various business fields such as urban logistics, public transportation, medical rescue, and various other needs. Even now, DFSK has collaborated with Ambulance Pintar Indonesia (API) to turn DFSK Gelora into an ambulance with various specifications.

The functionality of the DFSK Gelora as a commercial vehicle is supported by dimensions of 4,500mm x 1,680mm x 2,000mm (PxLxT) which provides an extra spacious and roomy cabin. For the blind van model, the length of the cabin reaches 2.63m (4.8 cubic meters wide). It is very suitable for increasing cargo capacity, logistics needs, catering, special urban applications, and various other needs.

Large cargo area combined with reliable, strong and responsive power. The kitchen is filled with a DK 1,500 cc DVVT engine with 109 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm @ 3,200-4,000 rpm. The power is channeled to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

It does not stop at the Blind Van model, DFSK plans to add Minibus variants soon. Then there is also an electrically driven model that is ready to be marketed when the regulation is complete.
