We were talking to you about it on June 25. After several weeks of negotiations, DFCO and Olympique Lyonnais have reached an agreement for the loan with option to buy Spanish midfielder Pape Cheikh Diop. This is the second recruit of the summer for the Dijon club.
Trained at Celta Vigo, in Spain, Pape Cheikh Diop (22 years old, 1m80) joined OL in the summer of 2017. Struggling to win at the club (13 L1 matches, 7 matches in national cups and 5 matches of Champions League including a remarkable performance against Manchester City), the midfielder was loaned to Celta Vigo last season.
