DFB-Pokal, 2nd round: BVB and Bayern live on free TV

The DFB has scheduled the second round of the DFB Cup on time. Two games will be broadcast live on free TV.

The ARD (here presenter Jessy Wellmer) shows Holstein Kiel against Bayern Munich.

The 2nd round starts on December 22 one 6.30 p.m. with four games – including the Bundesliga duel between FC Augsburg and RB Leipzig. Around 8 p.m. Then follows the first of two free-to-air games: “Sport1” broadcasts Eintracht Braunschweig against Borussia Dortmund. The remaining three Tuesday games will be at 8.45 p.m. kicked off.

On Wednesday, 23rd of December there are two kick-off times: three games begin at 6.30 p.m., four around 8.45 p.m..

As the DFB announced, the game between Holstein Kiel and Bayern Munich will be postponed to January 13, 2021 (8.45 p.m.). The game will be shown live on “Das Erste”.
