The pairings for the round of 16 of the DFB Cup have been determined! While BVB got a real hammer loss, Bayer Leverkusen can look forward to a second division team. At SPOX you can read the draw in the live ticker.
BVB was part of the first pairing. Coach Edin Terzic’s team will visit VfB Stuttgart on December 5th or 6th. The Swabians are the absolute surprise team of this Bundesliga season.
Two other Bundesliga teams, Borussia Mönchengladbach and VfL Wolfsburg, will meet in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup. This means that a maximum of four teams from the German upper house will be in the round of the last eight.
League leaders Bayer Leverkusen are currently facing SC Paderborn, while Eintracht Frankfurt is visiting Bayern conqueror Saarbrücken. The encounter between the second division teams Hertha BSC and Hamburger SV is also attractive.
