There is not much to talk about, however. The version for Xbox One X was taken as a graphic basis, only on PS5 and Xbox Series X it works in 4K, while on Xbox Series S – in 1080p. DF was visually confused only by the low quality of texture filtering on the periphery.
The difference between PS5 and Xbox Series X turned out to be strange: the PS5 sometimes has a lower resolution to maintain the frame rate, while X has a shooter always works in 4K, but can lose up to 5 FPS in different scenes.
Update… Digital Foundry confirmed that dynamic 4K is used on the Xbox Series X as well, just drops are more rare than on the PS5.

But in general, all nextgen versions are similar and work great thanks to raising the frame rate to 60 FPS, the appearance of the slider of the field of view and faster downloads. In addition, the Crucible for PS5 and Xbox Series X added a mode with 120 FPS at 1440p – on Series S this is not possible.
Both older consoles keep the declared frequency well, although the X again loses frames more often.

Experts called Destiny 2 on the next generation consoles an excellent upgrade, but now there are concerns due to inequality – players on PS4 and PS4 Pro at 30 FPS play together with PS5 owners, which can squeeze up to 120 FPS in competitive mode. Likewise on Xbox.
This year, Bungie has promised to add full crossplay so that owners of different devices can play with everyone – shared online between PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Stadia and PC. It is high time!
