Dexter is about Dexter Morgan, played by Michael C. Hall, who works as a forensic investigator and blood trace specialist for the Miami Police Department. He lost his parents when he was three and carries with him a rather mysterious trauma: he is a serial killer himself.
His adoptive father, police officer Harry Morgan, recognized Dexter’s murderous urges early on and taught him to only kill people who “deserve” it. Dexter therefore targets serial killers who have slipped through the cracks and are walking around freely.
