With one of his 12 conversions before Oklahoma City Thunder, Devin Booker became the 7th youngest player in NBA history in reaching the 10,000 points. Although it is not the first, the only ones ahead of it make up a true luxury club: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Tracy McGrady and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

What’s more, joined LeBron and Durant as the only ones to score 10,000 points and 800 3-pointers made before their 26th birthday. And if that were not enough, Booker is the Phoenix Suns player who has needed the fewest games to reach 10,000. He surpasses the mark set by Amar’e Stoudemire in 475 in 436 matches.
”It means a lot to me” Booker said after the game. ”I am very grateful to be in this position. I have a lot to thank my coaches for trusting such a young boy and letting me play through mistakes, because not everyone gets that opportunity.”.

Booker ended with 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 12 of 24 shooting (50%), with 6 of 12 in triples, in the victory by 115-97 over the Thunder. In this way he put his name in the history books and ended Phoenix’s two-game losing streak.
Nor was it an easy encounter. The Suns were back no two headlines like Deandre Ayton and Jae Crowder, in addition to being coach Monty Williams. But OKC was not complete either: no Its star, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, played due to a sore right ankle, neither were Jeremiah Robinson-Earl nor Josh Giddey., as did coach Mark Daigneault.

Thus, the Suns once again equaled the Warriors in record with 27 wins and 7 losses. This start is the second best in franchise history through the first 34 games, as in 2004-2005 they started with a fantastic 30-4.
