The Huveaune Côtiers-Aygalades public water development and management body is responsible for the development and development project of the banks of the Huveaune in Aubagne (Bouches du Rhône). This project is expected to be launched by the end of 2023.
The project, already validated during a consultation with local residents, concerns the development of the Bras-d’Or complex, in the Parc de la Botte, and the Serge-Mésonès complex. The park will be the subject of several interventions, including the modification of the Huveaune route. There will also be the construction of a green corridor, the rehabilitation of the parking lot to facilitate the flow of water and the construction of a path on the left bank. During this development, a walkway accessible to people with reduced mobility is also planned.
This project aims to restore the river to its place in the ecosystem by preventing flooding. This initiative also aims to offer users a new living environment.
