Development of Al-Bayaa Mosque in Makkah: Prince Muhammad bin Salman’s Historical Mosque Project

The Al-Bayaa Mosque received a large part of the development work in the second phase within the Prince Muhammad bin Salman project for the development of historical mosques, which he announced in 2018, with the support and guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The mosque was hidden from view behind Mount Aqaba until it appeared as a result of the Jamarat expansion projects in 1428 AH. To become a visible part of the landmarks of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. It consists of an open courtyard, preceded by a canopy, and is located at the bottom of Wadi Mina, 300 meters from Jamrat al-Aqaba, to the right of the bridge.

It is noteworthy that this mosque has great historical value and a great geographical position, and it is considered one of the most important ancient religious monuments in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia, from the time of its discovery until the present time.
