Arts education offers many benefits especially to young people. Creativity, imagination, critical thinking, self-confidence, daring to take risks, fine motor skills… These are not just words or vague concepts, they are essential skills for the development of children. Artistic education has its role to play and then, we can say, it’s just fun. They help them learn, grow and thrive. Isn’t becoming true citizens what is expected of them?
From nursery to university and from 7 to 77 years old
Throughout the year, co-construction work is carried out with education professionals and medico-social structures in order to allow everyone to discover, meet and practice! Whether you are teachers, social workers, pupils, students, members of an association, works council managers, curious visitors, the Kiwi accompanies you to imagine tailor-made projects.
Dance, Theatre, Music, Plastic arts, Circus
A small inventory à la Prévert so that you can discover what ARTO can offer to enter the world of art on one level: Performances reserved for schools and specialized structures, an artistic and cultural education course for each age group, meetings with artists and cultural professionals, “à la carte” actions offered to educational structures, teaching aids offered to teachers in order to give them the keys to accompany students to shows, a booklet -guide to know the life of the Kiwi and discover its backstage, “Kiwi-guide” coupons which allow students to come back to see the show they attended with the school by benefiting from a free place and a super price reduced for their companions, participation in the secular and citizen course (PLC), device of the departmental council of Haute-Garonne for colleges, participation in the device “Discovery of the trades of culture, heritage and crafts ” initiated by the Occitanie Region for high schools… And with medico-social structures each year, ARTO accompanies and co-constructs several projects with ASEI.
The workshops of the municipal school of artistic education of Ramonville (Emear). Weekly workshops for children and adults (dance, theatre, circus) take place all year round at the Kiwi. Or the “Dys” workshop. Led by the association Regards, this workshop aims to enable teenagers suffering from “Dys disorders” to express themselves through theatre.
