Creating a PS4 emulator is a very ambitious project that the developers responsible for RPCS3, a perfectly functional PS3 emulator, are working on. The program is still in its very early stages of development, but it looks like a major update will be released soon. In any case, this is indicated by a message on Twitter from one of the developers.
One of the RPCSX developers recently posted an interesting post on Twitter. In it we see a screenshot of the emulator, which shows the start screen of the game on the PS4 console. The message was further captioned “coming soon.” So, most likely, the developer had in mind an update to the emulator that will now be able to run at least some PS4 games on PC.
And some time ago it became known that RPCSX can play sound and work with controllers. The video also included a short demonstration of the gameplay, so who knows – perhaps the developers have now managed to make further progress in working on the emulator.
It’s worth remembering that RPCSX is currently only available for Linux.
