Developer Redstone is preparing to build a multi-purpose hall in Olomouc

The construction of the Nová Velkomoravská district of Olomouc is to include a sports and cultural hall. The Redstone development group has just presented a project proposal with an investment of 1.2 billion crowns to the city. At the same time, she showed the visualization of the project for the first time. Look at her.

“We decided to carry out an urban-architectural study of the location of a multifunctional hall in the Nová Velkomoravská locality at our own expense. We turned to two architectural studios that have the greatest experience with the preparation and implementation of multifunctional halls and winter stadiums in our country, “said Redstone owner Richard Morávek.

The architectural studios Obermeyer-Helika and Ateliér Šuráň are working on the project. The first named designers worked at the O2 arena in Prague. Atelier Šuráň has experience with a training hall in Karlovy Vary or with a sports complex in Mladá Boleslav.

Take a look at the video of what the new multi-purpose hall in Olomouc will look like:

“We are considering taking responsibility for ensuring the investment construction of the hall. Together with the city and the region, we would like to seek cooperation to ensure the financing of its operation and together strive to obtain a significant contribution from the central level, “added Morávek.

The developer estimates the volume of construction on former army land along Velkomoravská Street at 300,000 square meters. A new part of the Haná metropolis with apartments, offices and shops will be created. The total investment is to be around fifteen billion crowns. The scope will therefore be a similar plan as the recently started construction of the Smíchov City project in Prague. Redstone plans to start demolition work in 2021. Construction of the first of a series of project stages could begin in two years.
