As Israel implements a complete blockade, the Gaza Strip in Palestine is turning into hell, with no electricity, water, or food to eat.

Even the only power plant in the Gaza Strip has stopped operating, and hospitals are in danger of not being able to function properly.

Egypt, a worse neighbor, came forward and proposed a six-hour ceasefire to provide humanitarian aid.

Reporter Kyung-mi Lee covered the story.

Inside the building, the electricity was cut off and everything was dark.

People struggle to find survivors among the rubble of the building, relying only on flashlights and cell phone lights.

On the 11th local time, the only power plant located in the Gaza Strip, where 2.3 million Palestinians live, stopped supplying power due to a lack of fuel.

The electricity coming from Israel had already been cut off due to a complete blockade immediately after the Hamas attack.

Hospitals are using emergency generators, but they can only survive for two to four days at most.

Al Jazeera reported the tragedy, saying, “The Gaza Strip has gone back centuries to the Middle Ages and is on the verge of collapse.”

As the situation rapidly worsened, Palestine requested humanitarian help from the international community.

″There must be humanitarian intervention to avoid the coming catastrophe.″

Egypt also proposed a six-hour ceasefire between Israel and Palestine to provide humanitarian aid.

Reuters reported that Egypt discussed with the United States a plan to provide humanitarian aid through the Rafah Pass, the only passage between Gaza and Egypt under a limited ceasefire.

″We need more trauma supplies. Intravenous injections, bandages, anesthesia equipment, surgical equipment, various supplies, equipment, and medicines are needed.″

However, both Israel and Hamas are in the position that there is no cease-fire negotiation yet, so the possibility of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip is unclear.
