Major unions were asking workers to strike and prove it Thursday 29 September 2022 everywhere in France. In Niort, a demonstration gathered more than 1,000 protesters in a festive atmosphere. No overflows are to be noted during this purchasing power event.
The rally was scheduled for eleventhe demonstrators headed to the Niort town hall where they arrived around 13:00.

Along the way, many slogans were heard asking salary increase and purchasing power.

Two other demonstrations were organized in Deux-Sèvres, which brought together several hundred demonstrators Bressuire et Partenay.
These two demonstrations also took place peacefully.
