/ world today news/ With the “South Stream” gas pipeline, Bulgaria wants to secure long-term gas supplies, commented the German information portal Deutschlandradio Kultur, quoted by “Focus”.
This is a profitable project, but it is a thorn in the side of the EU. Brussels has already stopped the construction of the pipeline in Bulgaria. However, a compromise can be reached between Brussels and Moscow.
The project is one of the most difficult tasks of the future Bulgarian government. It must be able to balance between Brussels on the one hand and Moscow on the other.
