The largest European cellular operators – Deutsche Telekom and Tele2 – have created a new SIM card format. It is called rSIM or resilient SIM, which literally translates as “resistant SIM card”.
In addition, rSIM supports artificial intelligence technologies that monitor network quality in real time. If the connection is lost, the technology itself will switch to another operator without breaking the connection.
As noted, rSIM can be used to improve the quality of communication and “upgrade” the smartphone. For example, a “single-SIM” phone can be turned into a “dual-SIM” phone.
Another application of rSIM is to improve the quality of data transfer between smart gadgets that require an uninterrupted Internet connection for stable operation. It often happens that the Internet in the house has disappeared, and all the kettles, air conditioners, etc. have become untied. In such cases, they have to be synchronized again. rSIM solves this problem through a sophisticated system for switching between operators.

rSIM format cards are already offered by such cellular operators as Deutsche Telekom, Tele2, T-Mobile and GSMA. But the average user cannot buy it yet – he needs to contact showrooms to test the technology.
And earlier in 2024, the era of Wi-Fi 7 had already begun. The new technology is almost five times faster than Wi-Fi 6, as well as more stable and reliable.
