MILAN (Reuters) – Deutsche Börse (DE 🙂 announced on Friday that it had submitted an offer on Borsa Italiana, the operator of the Milan Stock Exchange, which was listed for sale by the London Stock Exchange.

Borsa Italiana is also coveted by Euronext which confirmed on Friday that it had made a joint offer with the Italian Caisse des Dépôts (CDP, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti).
