Dettol responds to fuss around corona label | Remarkable

The company feels compelled to respond to reports about the bizarre claim to bottle labels that appeared on social media, Het Nieuwsblad reports.

“Kills human coronavirus.” That message is unmistakably read on the Dettol packaging that some British customers spread on Twitter. However, producer RB warns Monday that that claim relates to the more common variants of the virus, and not to the potentially deadly strain currently raging in China.

The claim on the label concerns previous variants of the corona virus. There have been several corona variants for years. The new corona virus has not yet been tested.

Facebook is going to act harder on false corona information

Facebook says it will act harder against messages with false information about the corona virus. The American company will first have dubious messages checked for authenticity by health organizations, and then delete them if necessary.
